: The 74th Republic Day celebration rolled into action by the unfurling of the National Flag by the Principal, Smt.Prameela. The anchoring by Shri. Sivadasan and speech by students incorporated all the three languages as envisaged in the Ek Bharath Shresht Bharath regarding the conduct of programme. The staff and students spoke on the importance of constitution, the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters, the spirit of patriotism , the need to take responsibility and love for nation. The School Choir presented a Patriotic Song and the Migration Students of JNV Jhalawar presented a dance briming with patriotism. Some of our students presented a short cultural programme at the District Head Quarters, Palakkad.

Through the act, students have shown how Maharashtrian & Odissi people celebrate the festival of Makar Sankranti. The act was performed with great detailing. Each & every aspect of the festival was taken into consideration. They introduced Bhogi Panduga, Pedda Panduga & Kanuma Panduga celebrations in Odisha. They also showed Bhogi, Sankrant & Kinkrant celebrations in Maharashtra.

On 25th January, 2023 students put their Food Stalls and served different flavours by preparing the famous regional cuisines of both paired states. Stalls comprise of foods prepared in homes by students themselves. Participants were in traditional costumes. Some students were also performed traditional dances “Tarpa” and “Bhangra” of both paired states.
