IHM Shillong organized an activity on Painting on the three UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Uttar Pradesh – Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri and Agra Fort and the students of 01st Semester of One and Half Year Craftsmanship Certificate Course In Food Production & Patisseries participated in the activity in IHM Campus.
The students have shown keen interest to make this activity successful on 10.10.2024.

EBSB SAC club organised Online food Making Competition on 16 October 2024 to observed World Food Day. This is done to share the beauty of cuisine of different states of North East India. Students learn each other cuisine from their video presentations and online presentation in front of the judge by presenting their cuisine wearing their traditional attire to blend the beauty of their state.

The quiz competition was organized as a part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) campaign, which aims to promote cultural integration and unity among states and union territories in India.
The primary objectives of the quiz competition were:
• To promote unity and national integration among students through a fun and interactive medium.
• To encourage students to learn about the paired state Sikkim and its cultural aspects under the EBSB initiative.
Date: 30/09/2024
Venue: Auditorium, IHM Pusa
Time: 2:00 p.m.
The quiz competition was divided into two phases. Phase-1 was conducted in online mode through Google form.G-Form consisted of 10 questions based on India’s diversity and general knowledge. In this Phase total 13 students participated out of which 8 students were selected for the final phase that was organized in the institute. The Finale was divided into several rounds to test different aspects of student’s knowledge:
1. Round 1 – Multiple Choice Questions
2. Round 2 - Visual Round
3. Round 3 – Buzzer Round
Highlights of quiz:
• The quiz was interactive, and participants displayed great enthusiasm in answering questions related to the diversity of India.
• The audience was also involved in answering certain open questions, making the event more engaging.
• Winners were given certificates, medals, and mementos to recognize their participation and knowledge.

We are excited to announce the successful completion of the inaugural 'BrainBuzz Quiz Jam,' organized by the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) club of IIM Mumbai, in collaboration with the EBSB club of IIT Bhubaneswar. The quiz, themed "India Through the Ages," offered an engaging exploration of India's business, culture, and heritage. The programme deciphered the knowledge of language, culture, traditions and practices of different Indian states and established a bond of unity and integrity amog participants.
This event saw enthusiastic participation from over 40 teams across both campuses. Prelim rounds were conducted on August 26, 2024 finale was held on August 31, 2024. Following intense preliminary rounds, the competition culminated in an exhilarating online grand finale. Our talented second-year students, Sayan Kr Shaw and Debarghya Kar from IIM Mumbai, and Soumik Debangshi and Akansha Tiwari from IIT Bhubaneshwar served as Quiz Masters, ensuring a seamless and dynamic experience for all participants.
Hearty congratulations to Maneesha Joshee and Pragati Tripathi for emerging as champions, and to Syed Fahim Ahmed and Sudipto Chakrabarty for securing the runner-up position in the IIM Mumbai round! We also celebrate the grand finale winners, Aditya Upadhyay and Spandan Satpathy from IIT Bhubaneswar, who demonstrated exceptional knowledge and determination. Congratulations as well to Nikhil Kumar Sahu and Shaktisagar Das for being the runners-up in the IIT Bhubaneswar round.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to all the participants for making this event such a resounding success. This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our student coordinators, especially Nihal Borkar, Rajesh Wagh, and Vivek Mehta. We are also grateful to Professors Nikhil Mehta, Rosalin Sahoo, Vidyadhar Gedam, and Ajay Panda, Mr Aftab Alam and Mr Pramod Sudrik for their unwavering support throughout the event.
