Sitolia is a traditional game of Rajasthan played between two teams in the circular field consisting of 7 players each. On winning the toss of the coin, the winner chooses to field or to play. Sitolia the 7 round flat stones piled up on each other is played with the ball made of cloth or sponge or rubber. A member of one team (the seekers) throws a ball at a pile of stones to knock them over. The seekers then try to restore the pile of stones while staying safe from the opposing team's (the hitters') throws. The hitters' objective is to hit the seekers with the ball before they can reconstruct the stone pile. सितोलिया खेल सात पत्थरो का खेल होता है। यह खेल गली मोहल्ले मे बड़े मैदानों मे भी खेला जा सकता हैं। इसमें दो टीमें होती हैं, एक टीम की तरफ से सात पत्थर को गेंद से मारा जाता है तो वह पत्थर बिखर जाते हैं और गेंद कही दूर चली जाती हैं ऐसे मे दूसरी टीम गेंद लाकर पहली टीम के खिलाड़ी को मारती है जब तक पहली टीम इन सात पत्थरों को वापस नहीं जमा देती । इस तरह यह खेल बहुत ही रोचक माना जाता हैं।इस खेल मे दौड़ना, उठना, बैठना, चिल्लाना सब तरह की क्रियाये सक्रिय होती हैं।

The International Mathribhasha Diwas was observed on 21st February celebrating our multilingual heritage. Mast.Rayan pointed out that the theme for this year reflected the spirit of“Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” . He also pointed out the necessity of protecting our language, culture and identity .Mast.Narayanan delivered his speech citing how the modern society is slightly sliding away from the use of mother language and is embracing foreign cultures. He pointed out that these was because of the lack of proper knowledge among the new generation. He stressed on the need for the enlightenment of the students of this generation on our vibrant culture. Mast.Aswin hosted a quiz on “Mathrubhasha Diwas” that focused on the linguistic diversity of our nation and various movements throughout the world. Kum.Esha and Kum.Sreenanda of Class VI emphasized on how essential, the role of mother language was in the development of someone’s personality and how the mother language plays an important role right from the beginning by reciting a poem. The activities glorifying the mother tongue were conducted as part of the celebration during the Morning Assembly

The Yuva Sangam is an initiative of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to build close ties between the youth of the North East Region and rest of India under the spirit of Eak Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. This initiative has been conceptualised under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ in collaboration with various other ministries and departments such as Culture, Tourism, Railways, Information and Broadcasting, Youth Affairs and Sports, among others. Under this initiative over 20 thousand youths of 18 years to 30 years will travel across the country and gain a unique opportunity of cross-cultural learning. Ministry of Education selected IIIT Nagpur from Maharashtra State as a Pilot institute and the first tour of Yuva Sangam was organised, where the Manipur State is going to visit Maharashtra State. Under Yuva Sangam scheme 30 students and 3 faculties from Manipur visited to Nagpur from 20th Feb to 26th Feb 2023. IIITN successfully completed responsibility of representing and introducing the Maharashtra Culture to Manipur people.

MULTICON-W is a platform created with the objective of inculcating the Research culture in the Higher and Technical Educational Institutes, where UG and PG programs are evaluated by the accrediting bodies like NBA and NAAC in which research contribution is the major parameter to evaluate the R&D activities.
