Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat EBSB program is an important means of imparting cultural awareness and training to the students at national level an active participation of partner schools on reciprocal basis, helps promote knowledge about each other states in a comprehensive manner. Keeping the theme of culture values through the different folk songs and music of Uttarakhand state and to explore and know more and more about great and Incredible India. On 14 March 2022 under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) program Sainik School Bijapur organised the Group Song Dharti Hamara Garhwal ki which the one of the popular Garhwali song of the Uttarakhand state during Assembly. Which means How beautiful and lovely is the land of our Garhwal. This land is really very beautiful. There are five Badrinaths, five Kedars and Panch Prayag. It is our good fortune that the five Pandavas also came here. There are many famous pools, famous pools and famous monasteries here. There are hundreds of valleys below and the Valley of Flowers above. How lovely and beautiful this Garhwal land is. it is actually the land of the gods in which humans live Here listen to the mountain instruments played by the mercenaries, look, this is the stronghold of the heroes. Come see here the dancing of the gods Narasimha and Nagraja and the fighting skills of the Pandavas. Look how beautiful and lovely our land of Garhwal is.A total of 351 cadets from class XI to XII were part of this event.

Indiatourism Mumbai office participated by setting up the Ministry of Tourism’s Incredible india pavilion in Outbound Travel Mart 2022. which was held at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai from 14th to 16th March 2022 for 3 days. Ministry of Tourism’s pavilion, highlighted Govt. of India’s initiatives like ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’, ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ and ‘Incredible India Tourist Facilitator Course’. 10000 participants visited the stall.

Rachna - an ad making competition was conducted by the Cultural Cluster of IIM Visakhapatnam in collaboration with IIM Amritsar where each team was put in force their creative and marketing mind- set to form an informational video ad showcasing a pitch to visit a state (Teams can choose if they want to make it for either Andhra Pradesh or Punjab) Each team had to submit a video of length minimum of 60 seconds & maximum of 2 minutes. The event was judged by 2 faculties, 1 from IIM Amritsar and 1 from IIM Visakhapatnam. Only one video was considered per team.

The mostly played games are such as “Tang-Guti”, Lukaluki, siu siu , Bhel kutkut, Bhalta Khel , Bagh Goru, Phatik Teteli etc. It can be assumed that these games and sports of fun and enjoyment are designed so as to get respite from hard work, and also serves as a source of refreshment, encouragement and enhances concentration in daily works.
