Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated in the campus with the paying of floral tribute to the Mahatma followed by the Sarva Dharma Prarthana and Bhajans by School Choir. Speech by the staff , Principal and the students highlighted the contributions of Gandhi and the importance of Gandhi in one’s life . As part of this celebration, cleanliness drive was initiated in and around the campus by staff. The students too were motivated to do the same.

⮚ Session 2: October 8th, 2022: The second session of this month was focused on providing information about Annie Besant, Lal Bahadur Shastri and Shyamji Krishna Varma`s struggle for the Indian freedom movement.
⮚ Session 3: October 15th, 2022: The third session of this month was focused on providing information about Mahatma Gandhi`s Jivandarshan part 2.

In the said activity, students of the Institute made Rangoli Digitally for the paired state Kerala. Through these digital Rangoli the students have shown the art, culture and tradition of the paired state Kerala. As per the program cadets of class 10th participated in Elocution Competition.Poster making conducted for class 8. Cadets participated actively in these activities. NITIE, Mumbai, observed National Engineer’s Day. Under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative, the EBSB Club organized a Quiz competition which was held online on September 30, 2022, in continuation of its focus on the National Engineer’s Day, to create awareness of the contributions of indigenous culture and technologies and engineering stalwarts in India. The quiz attracted around 91 Responses collectively from NITIE Mumbai (61) and IIT BHUBANESWAR (30). The programme brought alignment opportunities for the students of the two states i.e. Maharashtra and Odisha.
The Quiz spread knowledge about great Indian talents such as M. Visvesaraya, Narayanamurthy, women engineers, engineering marvels in India, etc. As the students at the institutes are all engineers, they were very appreciative of the knowledge gained regarding India’s contributions to the economy through its engineering talents and the advancement of scientific thought processes in the culture of India.

(a) SSG conducted the Art & Painting competition on the topic Folk dances and traditional dresses of Partner state (Chittorgarh Rajasthan) under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) on 30 Sep 2022. A total 15 cadets of class VI participated in the competition. (b) A total 30 minutes instrumental music played on folk songs of respective partner states by cadets from class VI to VII under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) on 29 Sep 2022 . A total 06 cadets were performed in the event.
