Despite the pandemic disrupting societal order, the students at IHM Pusa endeavoured to utilise this time to further educate themselves on this very cultural diversity found in their sister state. Organised under the government scheme of Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat, IHM Pusa put together a virtual presentation showcasing the cultural and traditional prowess of Sikkim and the episodes were launched on the official social media handles of the Institute on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.

The program was hosted live. The objective of the webinar was drawing focus on the benefits of gastronomy in promotion of tourism in Uttar Paradesh and Meghalaya, showcasing the cultural diversity of the state and reinforcing the principle of “Tourism for All”.

IIIT Sonepat also conducted Telugu Language quiz on 31st August, Dr. Diddi Kumara Swamy shared his knowledge of Telugu among the students and students learned it enthusiastically. More than 40 students participated. The quiz therefore was a huge success. Prof. MN Doja congratulated all the students and gave blessings. He encouraged and energized students to take part in more and more activities and take IIIT Sonepat to new heights.
