Part- 1: Pledge on Swachhata: EBSB club of RIPER conducted pledge on Swachhata on 25th November 2020. The members of the club and some students of RIPER participated in taking pledge. The pledge was focused on maintaining the cleanliness in and around the campus, the student explained about the need of the hour for maintaining the cleanliness in the society which would prevent us from many dreadful diseases, the students also explained about how to keep the campus, home, society clean, neat and tidy which would create a positive environment for others to follow the same. Clean environment creates a better world to live in. In this regard students also conducted the pledge in the seminar hall on maintenance of “SWACHHATA” in and outside the campus. Part- 2: Pledge on single use of plastic (26th November 2020): EBSB club of RIPER conducted a pledge on single use of plastic on 26th November 2020. One of our student Mr. Pavan Kumar explained about the disadvantages of repeated use of low quality plastic, the students also explained about the various methods to dispose the plastics and recycling processes to prevent plastic pollution. He also explained harmful effects of single use plastics on the public health and the nature. He pointed out the various sources of single used plastic material in the campus and explained alternatives of plastics. At the end of the program, students and faculty took the pledge on single use of plastic.

As a part of "Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat " activities, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in association with Mygov platform conducted EBSB Quiz Competition from 1st January 2020 to 30th June 2020. As per the instructions received from MOT, India Tourism Mumbai provided paid holiday two (winner + one companion) to the pairing state (2 Nights and 3 Days) to winners of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) quiz contest. Arrangement of ground hospitality including Airfare, accommodation with meals, transport for transfers & sightseeing, guide fees, Entry fees etc. made through IATO. Accordingly, Mr. Ritesh Nagmote winner from western region provided 2 Nights/3 Days paid holiday from 25-27 November 2020 along with his companion to Odisha state as Odisha and Maharashtra are paired state under EBSB.
