In commemoration of the Kargil Vijay Diwas, Essay Writing Competition in English and Hindi was organized for Seniors on the topic “Kargil War-the spirit of national pride in every Indian” or ”Indian Army-our pride” to observe India’s victory over Pakistan wherein the Pakistani forces were ousted from their occupied positions on the mountain tops of northern Kargil District in Ladakh in 1999.

In October 1999, a super cyclone of massive proportions ripped through the entire Odisha coast snuffing away over 10,000 lives while rendering millions homeless. The 1999 cyclone remains etched in our memories as an apocalyptic failure of the administration as the mighty winds wreaked havoc exposing the extreme vulnerability of people to the whims of nature. In April 2018, Odisha became the first Indian state to have an early warning system in place for natural disasters such as cyclones and tsunami for people living along its 480 km-long coasts

IHM Gwalior has organised an online food video competition among the students of IHM Gwalior. Students were asked to prepare the video of the dishes based on the cuisines of Madhya Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland. Finally, it was presented in the google meet platform by the students. Judge 1.
