The quiz competition was organized as a part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) campaign, which aims to promote cultural integration and unity among states and union territories in India.
The primary objectives of the quiz competition were:
• To promote unity and national integration among students through a fun and interactive medium.
• To encourage students to learn about the paired state Sikkim and its cultural aspects under the EBSB initiative.
Date: 30/09/2024
Venue: Auditorium, IHM Pusa
Time: 2:00 p.m.
The quiz competition was divided into two phases. Phase-1 was conducted in online mode through Google form.G-Form consisted of 10 questions based on India’s diversity and general knowledge. In this Phase total 13 students participated out of which 8 students were selected for the final phase that was organized in the institute. The Finale was divided into several rounds to test different aspects of student’s knowledge:
1. Round 1 – Multiple Choice Questions
2. Round 2 - Visual Round
3. Round 3 – Buzzer Round
Highlights of quiz:
• The quiz was interactive, and participants displayed great enthusiasm in answering questions related to the diversity of India.
• The audience was also involved in answering certain open questions, making the event more engaging.
• Winners were given certificates, medals, and mementos to recognize their participation and knowledge.

Ms. Taru Saxena, a lecturer at IHM Bhopal, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the beverages of Manipur and Nagaland. During the session, she introduced students to various types of beverages unique to these regions, discussing their cultural significance, preparation methods, and presentation styles. This informative session aimed to raise awareness among the students, ultimately promoting the rich beverage heritage of Manipur and Nagaland. A total of 50 students actively participated in the presentation.

होटल प्रबंध खानपान एवं पोषाहार संस्थान पूसा, नई दिल्ली में एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत के अंतर्गत सिक्किम पर्यटन को दर्शाने वाली पैम्फलेट निर्माण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन जुलाई 2024 में किया गया l जिसके अंतर्गत जुलाई 2024 में विद्यार्थियों के बीच पैम्फलेट निर्माण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन सम्पन्न कराया गया l इस प्रतियोगिता में कुल 07 विद्यार्थी ने हिस्सा लिया l पैम्फलेट एक प्रचार दस्तावेज़ हैं जो विशिष्ट गंतव्यों, होटलों, पर्यटन, अवकाश पैकेजों का विज्ञापन करते हैं। वे उपयोगी जानकारी से भरे हुए हैं, यात्रियों को उनकी यात्राओं का अधिकतम लाभ उठाने के लिए आवश्यक सभी विवरण प्रदान करते हैं। इस प्रतियोगिता विद्यार्थियों ने सिक्किम राज्य के पर्यटन को दर्शाने वाली पैम्फलेट बनाया जिसमे उन्होंने सिक्किम राज्य में स्थितः विभिन्न पर्यटन स्थल के बारे में पैम्फलेट में बड़ी ही खूबसूरती से दरसाया है । प्रतियोगिता सम्पन्न होने के बाद संस्थान के तीन शिक्षकों द्वारा विद्यार्थियों की पैम्फलेट का जांच किया गया l पैम्फलेट निर्माण प्रतियोगिता को जाचने के लिए दो बिन्दुओ को ध्यान में रखा गया, जिसमे उनकी रचनात्मकता क्षमता, सिक्किम राज्य के बारे में ज्ञान का ध्यान रखा गया l इन बिन्दुयों को ध्यान में रख कर विजेता का घोषणा किया गया जिसमे की प्रथम स्थान अहाना सुकुल (बी.एस.सी ( तृतीया वर्ष) ) को प्राप्त हुआ l
