Order to strengthen the unity and integrity in India under the EBSB, along with promoting a proper understanding of cultural, geographical, political glimpse and traditional values of paired state Nagaland and letter writing in English, Hindi and Regional Language to expressing or disseminating knowledge about the partner state Nagaland among the cadets, SS Amethi organized Quiz on 28 Nov 2023 at Mini Auditorium and Letter writing activity on 29 Nov 2023 based on theme Literacy Fest. All the cadets were influenced and motivated to appreciate the cultural, regional and linguistic diversities as India represents ˜Unity in Diversity. All the cadets were impressed and inspired while participating in the Literacy Fest.

Sainik School Ambikapur hosted its EBSB partner school - Sainik School Balachadi from 13 Oct to 17 Oct 2023. Various exchange activities like Assembly, Heritage Tours, CCA competitions, and cultural exchange programmes were conducted where the cadets of the host and the visiting schools showcased the culture, traditions, cuisines, heritage and tourist locations of their respective states. The climax of the Exchange programme was the Cultural Programme where Chhattisgarhi Artists from Ranpur village performed Pandavani, Parka, Chaitra, Suwa Karma and saila and Cadets of Sainik School Balachadi performed the Garba. A valedictory function was also organized where the participating cadets were awarded certificates of participation.

Sainik School Bijapur recently conducted on 30 Sep 2023 a speech competition with the aim of spreading awareness about the partner state, Uttarakhand. The event served as a platform for students to delve into the rich culture, history, and natural beauty of Uttarakhand. Participants showcased their research and eloquence as they highlighted Uttarakhand's breathtaking landscapes, including the majestic Himalayas and serene rivers. They also emphasized the state's vibrant culture, with its diverse traditions and festivals, such as the Kumbh Mela and Ganga Aarti. Through these speeches, students not only informed their peers about Uttarakhand's treasures but also fostered a sense of unity and understanding among the young minds. This initiative exemplifies how educational institutions can play a vital role in promoting awareness and appreciation of India's diverse states and cultures.A total 12 cadets took part in this activity.

On 30 Apr 2023 a Seminar was conducted by Class X cadets in the school auditorium on the topic MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS. The cadets of 6 to 9 witnessed the presentation (In total 60 cadets present). During the seminar they discussed various points such as importance of Mental health in schools, Symptoms of mental illness, Tips for improving mental health by doing various activities in schools etc.

A total 15 cadets of class VI participated in the competition. (b) A total 30 minutes instrumental music played on folk songs of respective partner states by cadets from class VI to VII under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) on 29 Sep 2022 . A total 06 cadets were performed in the event.

Under the flagship programme of Government of India ˜Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, Sainik School Gopalganj conducted a ˜Haryanvi; Folk Song, singing competition on 29 Sep 2022 wherein a total of 60 cadets from classes VI to XI participated very actively and sang a variety of traditional and folk songs of Haryana State with the feel that touched the hearts of the spectators. These singers where accompanied by Mr Krishna Kumar, Music Teacher on Harmonium, Mr Shyam Kumar on table and Mr NK Sinha, TGT (Gen Sc) on Jhal. No doubt the cadets artist tied the knot in the gathering. Instrumental Music Playing Under the flagship programme of Government of India ˜Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat conducted a 30 minutes instrumental music playing of the folk/traditional songs of the partner state ˜Haryana on the evening 30 Sep 2022 in the Cadets Mess wherein a total of 40 cadets played the traditional musical instruments of Haryana like Harmonium, Chimta, Dholak, Manjeera, Khartal, Ghungroo and Thali. The team of the cadet artists played desi folk music of the partner state ie Haryana. The theme of the music was valour and bravery, harvest and happiness. The native (Desi) form of Haryanvi music was based on Raag Pilu played by the young genius in the direction of their music teacher kept the audience mesmerised. The cadets and staff members appreciated the beauty of the culture and music of Haryana and accepted that it adds to the ˜Unity in diversity of the country.

Different types of cultural competitions/ activities organised in our school on dated 28th and 29th September. Out cadets were highly inspired while performing the partner State programs like dance music etc. Which is developing a good relationship between state Odisha and Maharashtra. Odissi music is a genre of classical music in India, originated from the eastern state of Odisha. The traditional ritual music for the service of Lord Jagannatha, Odissi music has a history spanning over two thousand years, authentic sangita-shastras or treatises, unique Ragas & Talas and a distinctive style of rendition. Maharashtra is a state of India. The region's folk heritage includes boards, Gondhals, Lavanis-(Lavani or Lavni is all about how much emotion your face can propagate into. Mastery is different in this dance form and is Maharashtra's cherished factors which are disappearing rapidly.) Shahiris and Powada. Sharang Dev, a 13th-century composer, was from Maharashtra as well.

Sainik School Kapurthala celebrated the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Abhiyan with enthusiasm as per the instructions provided. The school conducted the activity 30 minutes instrumental music playing of the Folk/Traditional songs of the partner state in Cadets' Messâ€. The activity was conducted during the dinner on 27 September 2022. After introducing the activity, the Instrumental Folk music of the partner state Andhra Pradesh was played on Cadets Mess music system for next thirty minutes. All the cadet present in the Mess participated actively in the activity and enjoyed the music thoroughly. The cadets appreciated the different nuances of the instrumental folk music of Andhra Pradesh and developed respect and appreciation towards the cultural diversity of India.
