Indiatourism Goa participated in India Travel Mart held at Don Bosco High school, Panjim from 25th to 27th Feb 2022. The Incredible India stall promoted the varied Tourism products of the country and also highlighted the two major initiative of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India namely " Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" and "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat ". During the three days of exhibition around 400 visitors visited Indiatourism Information counter and took the tourist Information as well as colourful brochures and maps of various tourist places of India. At the booth AV made by Indiatourism Mumbai on Aguada Jail Museum was played.

As part of the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat initiative the Institute organized webinar screening of Film on SIKKIM “Discover Sikkim” on 25th February 2022 for the students enrolled in third year of BSc HHA . The film Focused on showcasing History, Culture, Tourist Places, Food and Rural Tourism of Sikkim. The aim of this activity was to increase awareness about Delhi’s sister state Sikkim and to showcase Sikkim as a upcoming tourist destination

Celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat Club, NITIE along with Rotaract Club, NITIE organized a Poster Making Competition themed on Rainwater Harvesting. With our intent to promote the awareness about Jal Shakti Abhiyan and to spread awareness among the students regarding the importance of using water responsibly. Combining inherent synergies of the two clubs on the basis of nature of social work, we floated the intent through social media. The event was open to all from 24th February to 15th March 2022. The result of the events are as follows: We are proud to announce the winners of the competition. The judges of the event were Prof. Seema Unnikrishnan, Professor-Sustainability, Prof. Hema Diwan-Assistant Professor-Sustainability, Prof. Ranjani K.S.- Assistant Professor-Finance and Economics, Prof. Poonam Singh-Assistant Professor-Finance and Economics.
