On January 23, 2024, a program on the culture of Manipur and Nagaland was organized under the EBSB Club at Government Girls College, Katni. The purpose of the program was to provide information about the rich culture of these states to the students. The program was presided over by Principal Dr. R.K. Gupta. The program was conducted by EBSB Club in-charge, Mrs. Namrata Nigam. In the beginning of the program, Mrs. Namrata Nigam told the students about the culture of Manipur and Nagaland. She gave the students information about the history, culture, and art of these states.

In line to create awareness on the literature on cuisine of the Chhattisgarh and Gujarat among the students of the institute an initiative was taken through “Chhattisgarhi Vyanjan” and “The Complete Gujarati Cookbook”. The students were willing to try the delicacies in their theme luncheons during their tenure at the institute and also at their homes.

Continuing the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat streak of events,aguest lecture on Sikkim Tourism was organized by the Institute, on 22nd December,2023. The guest speaker was Anurag Asthana, Manager - Sikkim, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.The event took place on the CiscoWebex platform where more than 96 students attended the lecture.Increasing cultural and religious knowledge about Sikkim, and promoting it as an emerging tourism destination was the primary objective of the session.Mr. Anurag engaged the students with a hopeful session, stating everything about the state, its main attractions, the culinary habits of the people, and many other factors. The guest lecture concluded with a Q/A session where the students were given the opportunity to ask their topic related doubts from the speaker.The activity invited healthy participation from the faculty and student body.

Various interdepartmental competitionswere organised on the 21 st of December in four different locations in our college campus. Oratorical, Solo Singing, Poster Making, Shape your Heart of Art: Exhibition and Group Dance were conducted by the Tamil, Sanskrit, Hindi, French and English Programmes on the 21st of December from 9 a.m., to 3 p.m.

She told about various types of vegetables, spices and herbs are used in the cuisines of Manipur and Nagaland. The taste of these dishes is very delicious and distinct. Mrs. Smriti Dahayat also provided information to the students related to Manipur and Nagaland. She told the students about the history, culture and art of these states.
