Sanskriti '22 marked the visit of NIT Hamirpur students and faculty to NIT Calicut for a duration of 6 days. The students were introduced to Kerala culture and tradition through a series of cultural visits to places like Palakkad, Wayanad and calicut of kerala. The EBSB club memebers of NIT Calicut performed traditional dance forms like Thiruvathira, Oppana, DUffmutt , Margamkali and Vanchippattu.

Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated in the campus with the paying of floral tribute to the Mahatma followed by the Sarva Dharma Prarthana and Bhajans by School Choir. Speech by the staff , Principal and the students highlighted the contributions of Gandhi and the importance of Gandhi in one’s life . As part of this celebration, cleanliness drive was initiated in and around the campus by staff. The students too were motivated to do the same.

In the said activity, students of the Institute made Rangoli Digitally for the paired state Kerala. Through these digital Rangoli the students have shown the art, culture and tradition of the paired state Kerala. Students of the Institute had explained “Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat” aspect precisely through these Digital Rangolies and given the message that we are a country of diversity fulfilling the aim of “Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat”
