Sajibu Cheiraoba :- it is new year of Manipur. Sajibu is first month of Meitei calendar. Other similar traditions of celebration New Year on the same date as Sajibu Nongma Panba in other parts of the country also found such as Mydha Pradesh Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, MP and many other Indian states. |
