LODI AND MAKARSHANKRANTI HARVESTING FESTIVALS
On 14th January, 2023 NITIE EBSB Cultural Committee organised the Lohri Celebration, the first festival on campus . Students on campus celebrated the holy occasion, which marks the confluence of various Indian harvest festivals like Bihu, Lohri, Makar Sankranti, Maghi, Pongal, Poush Sankranti, Uttarayan. The celebration was graced by the warm presence of the Director sir, all Deans, the Chief Warden, Cultural PICs and wardens, along with other members of the faculty and their families. It was an enjoyable evening that brought fun-filled moments for all as they danced heartily to Dhol beats while leaving their worries in the pious Lohri bonfire. |
