IITH-EBSB Sankranti Celebrations
Makar Sankranti, a harvest festival, is celebrated all over India by different names such as Lohri in Punjab, Pongal in Tamil Nadu, Bihu in Assam and Uttarayan in Gujarat. India is the second largest producer of the crop globally! Under the EBSB club of IIT Hyderabad, the IITH community celebrated Makar Sankranti on 15th of January with various competitions. |
