Nodal officers Prof. A. Sreedevi, Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati, and Dr. Asim Khan Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longoval, Punjab organized an interactive session. Programme was initiated by the introduction of paired institute students, from each Institute 4 students were given awareness of festivals celebrated in their states. SPMVV students highlighted the Bogi, Makar Sankranti, and kanuka festivals. Which celebrates January 14,15 and 16 of every year. Longoval students explained about Lodhi, Makar Sankranti, and Vasanth Panchami festivals. Both the Institute students explained how they’re celebrated, the importance of Rangoli, and why their festivals are celebrated. What are the special types of recipes they will make, what is the significance of those recipes and how healthy they are, etc., All the students are actively involved in the interactive session and shared their views. The session ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. A. Sreedevi.
