Puranpoli is the special and famous cuisine of khandesh region of Maharashtra which includes Dhule, Jalgaon, Nandurbar districts.. Basically puranpoli is made by rural women in very tradional way.. it is prepared on earthen pot to which heat is supplied by Chulha..it is sweet in taste can be served with Kheer Or Mango juice(Ras) Or simply eaten with milk of ghee... it has been a culture of serving puranpoli on important festive seasons like diwali, makarsankranti and for the guests..i would suggest everyone whenever visit khandesh make a satisfaction with puranpoli...
