Shivaji Jayanti Celebrations NITIE under Azadi ka Amritmahotsav aligned with Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat celebrated Shivaji Jayanti with pride and fervour on 19 February 2022. Shivaji Palki procession, aarti, and dances were organised to celebrate this great day. Our revered Director, Prof. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, graced the occasion with faculty and staff members. Prof. Tiwari emphasised the virtues and values of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and urged students to follow in His footsteps. Shivaji Maharaj's Shastras were displayed. Shri Nikhil Ghag, a Fellow student, presented Powada, Marathi ballad to glorify and celebrate the leadership of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The programme was hosted by Shri Vedant Patil, a student of PGDSM-21. Pranav Shelke from PGDIM-28 looked after photos and videography. Marathi food was served to celebrate Maratha culture. NITIE feels pride in sharing Maratha culture. Members from IIT, Bhubaneshwar EBSB club, were invited to join us in our celebrations. Thanks to all the students, staff and faculty members for being a part of the grand celebration. |
