Independence Day Celebration
75 years of Indian Independence was celebrated with great pomp and show on 15.08.2022 . A week long programme and celebrations marked the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav . The flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest , Shri.Mahendran, a Retired Kargil War Veteran which was followed by the welcome address by Smt.Prameela, Principal of JNV Palakkad , wherein a glowing tribute was paid to the freedom fighters and also need to rise to the occasion by shouldering responsibilities. Speech in English, Hindi and Malayalam were delivered by the students Mast.Narayanan, Kum.Pavithra and Kum.Akshaya. The address was given by Shri.R Chakyar,TGT Malayalam stressing on the need to enliven the dreams of the freedom fighters . In his Presidential Address, the Chief Guest Shri.Mahendran enumerated his experiences as a soldier in Kargil War and the supreme sacrifices made by the defence personnel in defending the nation. The cultural session unfolded patriotic songs, dance ,skit, yoga display and national integration song by students. |
