Guest Lecture on Jammu and Kashmir: Before and After Article 370
The Resource Person Started with a brief introduction and history about Jammu and Kashmir. He also mentioned about the various rulers of Jammu and Kashmir from Kashyapa rishi to Dogra rulers before India got its independence. He narrated the whole situation about the integration of states at the time of partition and also highlighted the Instrument of Accession signed by the king Hari Singh of Jammu and Kashmir and the special status given to them under article 370. He gave an elaborated description about Article 370 and its six special provisions for Jammu and Kashmir. |
