Makar Sankranti Celebratin
IIM Raipur community celebrated the Makar Sankranti in different ways and forms that represented different culture. Students celebrated ‘Lohri’ and danced around bonfire. In the morning, students, faculty, and staff joined together and enjoyed kite flying with a lot of enthusiasm. The special menu from different cultures was prepared in mess like Pungal (Sweet Dish), Khichdi, Chikki, etc. The celebration was also in line with Ministry’s initiative ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ (EBSB) to promote the cultural, traditions and practices of different states. |
