The Institute involved in an online webinar on the topic “Saanjh-The Virtual Tour To The Land of Gods” on 21th October, 2021 in which Ms. Raasha Sharma and Ms. Simon Kaur have presented first movie of Himachal Pradesh Named Saanjh whereas the village culture, tradition etc. shown in the movie has explained. In which the village life and urban life style has been compared. This movie gives motivation to all those people who have left their village and don’t want to go back to their village. This activity is done with the coordination Of Faculty and the student of paired IHM, Thiruvananthapuram. There were 41 participants in this online activity.

Under the ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ programme, Talking hour on Assam was conducted on 18th October, 2021 for cadets from grades VI-IX and XI. One ninety four cadets participated in the same. The cadets of these classes were acquainted with the ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ programme and the partner state, Assam’s rich culture, heritage, tourist destination, crops, occupations, latest developments etc. through a power point presentation. Music competition was also organised for grades VI – XII on 20th October, 2021 wherein six cadets participated.

As per the Initiatives of Ministry of Human Resource -Development and AICTE, Thakur College of Engineering and Technology started to conduct Student exchange programs. NIP Poster Making & Essay Writing Competition was held on 16th October, 2021 for partner colleges along with host college TCET. The Poster Making & Essay Writing competition was proposed for the topic: ‘Dissemination of Information about your State’. The event envisioned to provide a platform where participants could think creatively, write persuasively and present well-connected ideas in a compact fashion about their state heritage thereby, enhancing communication skills and dissolving stage fear. Also, the purpose was to learn the culture, living styles, social customs and such other aspects of the social and cultural affairs of each other’s institute along with learning soft skills and technical skills.
