73rd Independence Day was celebrated at 9.00 am on 15 August 2019 with much enthusiasm. Principal hoisted the national flag and addressed the staff and students. In his address he asked the students to work for the development of our country. All the staff of our college and 100 NCC cadets and about 200 students attended the function.

The 73'' Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic fervour in our college. The National Flag was hoisted by Dr. P. Parimalasekar, Head of the Department of History, of our college. As the tricolour fluttered gloriously in the morning sun, all those assembled including the members of the teaching faculty, students, NCC officers and cadets and NSS volunteers stood to attention and saluted.
