On 26th January 2020, 71st Republic day celebration was held in Sona College ground. Our NSS wing participated in Republic day parade.Our National Flag was hoisted by Chairman. C. Valliyappa, Sona College of Technology in the presence of Principal Dr. S.R.R.Senthil Kumar principle of Sona College of Technology Dr. V.Karthikeyan principle of Thiyagrajar Polytechnic College. Shri.C.Valliyapa inspected the parade and accepted the salute from parade leaders.

This was the very first official meeting about Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat for Inauguration of student club. The meeting was conducted and students were informed about the details of this programme and were motivated about further plans and forth coming events.
This co-ordination was held with the state Punjab so their culture and various other information regarding their state was explained to the students. The prime motive and idea behind the programme was cultural and knowledge exchange
