AKAM-EBSB is an initiative of the Government of India, to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of it's people, culture and achievements. It is fuelled by the spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. Amrit Mahotsav meaning Nectar of grand celebration which signifies the 75 years of India's independence from British Raj. The overall celebrations began on 12-03-2021 and will continue up to 15-08--2023.
Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) programme is a ongoing Iconic event under AKAM. EBSB aims to enhance interaction & promote mutual understanding between people of different states/UTs through the concept of state/UT pairing. As part of it, Ministry of Education in association with AICTE and several
Ministries paired states. Andhra Pradesh is paired with Punjab. Students visit to paired states is a sub-theme in EBSB. Students of one state shall visit their paired state and learn/ understand the culture, cuising, attire and etc. of the paired state along with visiting historical and freedom fight related places. Part of this, Aditya Institute of Technology and Management was selected as Sender Institution and
LPU was selected as a Receiver Institution by AICTE. Aditya Institute of Technology and Management in association with Samagra Shiksha (School Education), Andhra Pradesh, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi took students to LPU, Jalandhar, Punjab. The 05 days tour in Punjab held from 04-08-2022 to 08-08-2022.

Institute had organised stakeholder awareness programme under Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat in the month of August 2022. In the said activity, students of the Institute had gone to nearest tourist place Kufri. Where they met with stakeholder like Horsemen, Dhabawala, Shopkeeper, Taxi Drivers and Tourist Guides. They were made aware with the importance of Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat and cultural aspect of paired state Kerala. Students of the Institute had explained Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat aspect so precisely that message goes to people, we are living in one country with so many diversity. This activity completely fulfil the idea of EBSB.
