Under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Scheme, Ministry of Tourism, Bhubaneswar Office organized a meeting with 20 leading Tour Operators from Bharatiya Paryatan Vikas Sahakari Sanstha, Pune on 14.03.2023 for promotion of Odisha in Maharashtra.
Tour Operators were encouraged to prepare customized tour packages and include upcoming tourists sites of Odisha.
Incredible India brochures and information were provided to the group and Millet items were served as refreshment to the guests.

The Yuva Sangam is an initiative of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to build close ties between the youth of the North East Region and rest of India under the spirit of Eak Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. This initiative has been conceptualised under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ in collaboration with various other ministries and departments such as Culture, Tourism, Railways, Information and Broadcasting, Youth Affairs and Sports, among others. Under this initiative over 20 thousand youths of 18 years to 30 years will travel across the country and gain a unique opportunity of cross-cultural learning.
Ministry of Education selected IIIT Nagpur from Maharashtra State as a Pilot institute and the first tour of Yuva Sangam was organised, where the Manipur State is going to visit Maharashtra State. Under Yuva Sangam scheme 30 students and 3 faculties from Manipur visited to Nagpur from 20th Feb to 26th Feb 2023. IIITN successfully completed responsibility of representing and introducing the Maharashtra Culture to Manipur people.

Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET) is celebrating its 21 years of foundation along with AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV with MULTICON-W 2023. MULTICON-W is a platform created with the objective of inculcating the Research culture in the Higher and Technical Educational Institutes, where UG and PG programs are evaluated by the accrediting bodies like NBA and NAAC in which research contribution is the major parameter to evaluate the R&D activities. MULTICON-W is a platform of multiple conferences and workshops where students, academicians and industry professionals across the country gather in our campus to share their learning on experiential learning and organizational & professional practices.

On 14th January, 2023 NITIE EBSB Cultural Committee organised the Lohri Celebration, the first festival on campus . Students on campus celebrated the holy occasion, which marks the confluence of various Indian harvest festivals like Bihu, Lohri, Makar Sankranti, Maghi, Pongal, Poush Sankranti, Uttarayan. The celebration was graced by the warm presence of the Director sir, all Deans, the Chief Warden, Cultural PICs and wardens, along with other members of the faculty and their families. It was an enjoyable evening that brought fun-filled moments for all as they danced heartily to Dhol beats while leaving their worries in the pious Lohri bonfire.
