Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) Club of VESIT Mumbai organised a mesmerizing event 'Raga Rhythm' in association with International Management Institute(IMI) Bhubaneswar on on 23rd October, 2021. The event was aimed to spread the message of unity and harmony in music, even as it reveals in its diversity! Students from both the institutions participated in the event. The student artisans representing two states, Maharashtra and Odisha brought various composition, melodies and folklore of the people of the two states.

The event began with a warm welcome from Srushti Jagtap (D14B), the Student Head of the EBSB council, followed by a melodious Saraswati Vandana by Sanika Indulkar (D16A). Before starting with the performances, Mrs. Priya R.L. (Assistant Professor, Department of Computer) gave a speech and threw light on the event. Anushree Rege (D20), Mugdha Sholapure (D15A), and Neeraj Patil (D16B) were the singers from VESIT. Anushka Bhattacharya and Priyabrata Rout were the performers from IMI, Bhubaneshwar.The singers from VESIT performed songs native to Maharashtra while singers from IMI performed songs native to Odisha.

As per the Initiatives of Ministry of Human Resource -Development and AICTE, Thakur College of Engineering and Technology started to conduct Student exchange programs. NIP Poster Making & Essay Writing Competition was held on 16th October, 2021 for partner colleges along with host college TCET. The Poster Making & Essay Writing competition was proposed for the topic: ‘Dissemination of Information about your State’. The event envisioned to provide a platform where participants could think creatively, write persuasively and present well-connected ideas in a compact fashion about their state heritage thereby, enhancing communication skills and dissolving stage fear. Also, the purpose was to learn the culture, living styles, social customs and such other aspects of the social and cultural affairs of each other’s institute along with learning soft skills and technical skills.
