On the occasion of World Heritage Day 2023, Ministry of Tourism, Bhubaneswar office organized Heritage Walk to Heritage Crafts Village, Raghurajpur, Puri on 18.04.2023 for Yuva Tourism Club students.
Raghurajpur is famous for Pattachitra - painting done in palm leaves using natural colors, which narrates mythological stories. Students got first hand information and knowledge regarding heritage, crafts and culture during this Heritage Walk. 100 Yuva Tourism Club students participated in the Heritage Walk.

Under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Scheme, Ministry of Tourism, Bhubaneswar Office organized a meeting with 20 leading Tour Operators from Bharatiya Paryatan Vikas Sahakari Sanstha, Pune on 14.03.2023 for promotion of Odisha in Maharashtra.
Tour Operators were encouraged to prepare customized tour packages and include upcoming tourists sites of Odisha.

Institute of Hotel Management Pusa organised a Sikkim Theme Lunch at the institute on 10th of March 2023 showcasing the cuisine decor culture music and dance of it sister state Sikkim under ek Bharat shreshth Bharat.
The venue of the lunch was the first floor restaurant scholar which was decorated completely as if you were in Sikkim itself. Different types of Sikkim Sikkim is dishes were prepared by the chef and students of the institute like

Sel roti + Gurkha achar

Chicken curry ( sikkimes style)
Tingmo (steamed Sikkim bread)
Dignitaries from various government offices and psu's like Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd, Cement Corporation of India Ltd, HIL, NBCC (India) Ltd, PEC Ltd., Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd., were invited for the event for the theme lunch.
Everyone enjoyed not only the lunch in its exquisite decor but were also showcased a small cultural performance prepared by the cultural societies of IHM Pusa.
It was a beautiful afternoon enjoyed by all.

In the said activity, students of the Institute participated in the Essay writing competition This activity was organized to spread knowledge about cuisine, culture and food of the paired state Kerala which increased the knowledge about the paired state Kerala.
Students of the Institute had explained “Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat” aspect precisely through the said activity and given the message that we are a country of diversity fulfilling the aim of “Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat”
