On the occasion of conclusion of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) event for the year 2021, the cadets were briefed about the significance and importance of the activities conducted throughout the year. The conducted activities have helped the cadets to enhance their understanding the best practices being followed in the partner state. On this occasion, speeches were delivered by the cadets on various facets of partner state such as traditional dishes, life style, festivals, cultural heritage, facts, history, tourism etc. These activities truly acted as a means to appreciate the idea of ‘Unity in Diversity’ and will go a long way to promote a sense of National Integrity among the cadets

The Institute involved in an online documentary on “Kerala Arts & Crafts” on 21st December, 2021 in which the documentary prepared by the students of IHM, Thiruvananthapuram is shown to the students of IHM Shimla. In this documentary the students of paired Institute IHM, Thiruvananthapuram has visited Arts & Crafts village Kovalam and briefly explained Arts and Crafts related to the Kerala culture. The IHM Shimla students got to know about various arts, crafts, culture, ornaments etc used in Kerala culture. There were 44 participants in this activity.

It is famous for its boat races, especially the snake boat races conducted annually in its lagoons. The students of Commerce Education ( B.Ed. Juniors) prepared a documentary on the famous boat races of Kerala. The EBSB coordinator guided the preparation of the documentary. It’s a visual treat of the lagoons of Kerala.

During the event, participants presented their artworks in person where they highlighted their works by explaining it individually to the jury. The theme of the artwork was based on the India as an United Country. The theme was highlighted through pencil drawing, oil painting and through canvas painting. Around 21 students participated from different departments of the college.
