As per the direction of Sainik Schools Society, Sainik School Nalanda conducted the Painting Competition from classes VI to IX on 06 Sep 2022 under the flagship programme of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat for the month of Sep 2022. Sainik School Nalanda (Bihar) has been paired with Sainik School Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan). The Painting Competition was conducted on the themes of Rajasthani Culture. Classes 6th & 7th Group (1) Roll 1737 Sheetal Parmar 6(A)- First, (2) Roll 1579 Amshuman Prasad 7(A)- Second & (3) Roll 1679 Prasant Kumar 6(A) (Third) Classes VIII & IX Group (1) Roll 1517 Rahul Raj 8(B)- First, 2. Roll 1426 Aryan Kumar 8(A)- Second & (3) Roll 1360 Shresehth Raj Verma 9(A)- Third) bagged first, second and third prize respectively. 30 Minutes instrumental music of the folk/ traditional songs of Rajasthan State was also played on 23 Sep 2022 wherein 494 cadets of classes VI to XII participated as listeners.

Under the EBSB activity awareness where in spreading the awareness of the cultural heritage of the state of Kerala has taken place by the students of IHM Shimla. The same was done at the famous tourist destination Kufri, where the students spoke about the cultural heritage of the state Kerala, hence creating awareness through a walk and spreading information and messages.
Student communicated “Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat” aspect to the tourist & locals, as we are country of diversity fulfilling the aim of EBSB.
