Holi is a festival of Color & happiness. On 30th March 2021 ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ Cell of G H Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur Maharashtra celebrated online Holi & Rangpanchami with students of paired Institution ‘C V Raman Global University, Bhubaneshwar Odisha’. In this online program, the anchoring was done by Mr. Pradyumna Shukla (CVRGU). In this program, Mr. Rutvik Walde (GHRCE) delivered the information on history of Holi through his speech & presentation. Then Mr. Atharwa Bhalerao (GHRCE) spoke about the importance of Colors. Then Ms. Pooja Madankar (GHRCE) talked on how she played eco-friendly Holi. The program was full of colors and all students participated in this event. Both institution students shared their views and color of joy in the program. In all 38 students were present from both institutions. Prof. Kalinga Bal (CVRGU) & Prf. Mangesh Bhorkar, EBSB Nodal Officer & NSS program Officer GHRCE were present for this program and shared their views on colors of holi. The program was well organized by EBSB cell of GHRCE under the guidance of Director GHRCE & CEO RGI Dr. Sachin Untawale and Dr. O. S. Bihade Executive Director RGI.

The objective of "Elimination of Single-Use Plastic”, was determined by Hon. Prime Minister in PRAGATI Meeting. In view of this novel cause, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club of G H Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur MH conducted a seminar with paired institution C V Raman Global University Bhubaneshwar Odisha on 30th March 2021. In this one hour seminar Ms. Anisha Khairkar (GHRCE) explained the various disadvantages of plastic use. She stated about the single use plastic effects on the environment. In her talk, she stated that the life of plastic bottles, plastic bag, cigarette filter, Styrofoam, coffee cup, plastic straw, plastic cutlery around 450, 20, 10, lifetime, 30, 200, 100 years respectively. Then Prof. Mangesh Bhorkar presented the ppt of elimination of single use plastic. In his presentation he stated various aspects of plastic and its effects on surrounding. How the plastic get deteriorate the quality of environment. It not only hard to human being but animals also. It doesn’t degrade and remain in its original state for long time. It is a main contributor in solid waste generation. He appealed to all attendees to eliminate the plastic use from their life and make the environment clean. Total 39 students from both institutions were present for this seminar. The program was well organised by Prof. Mangesh Bhorkar, EBSB Nodal Officer & NSS Program Officer GHRCE under the guidance of Dr. Sachin Untawale, Director GHRCE & CEO RGI and Dr. O. S. Bihade Exe. Director RGI.
