Dried vegetables is part of Kashmiri Culture that has been followed from ages. As the winter is harsh , snow covers most of the fields during winters and availability of vegetables is rare. So in summers people expose some vegetables to sunlight so that water content is reduced and store these dried vegetables for winter. |
