Mother tongue day celebration was held at 11.30 am on 21.02.2020 at the Tamilavel Umamaheswaranar Karanthai Arts College, Thanjavur. The principal of the college, Dr.(Tmt).R.Rajamani, presided over the function. Professors and students issued a Mother tongue’s Day pledge. In addition, there were students performing arts such as singing and dancing. Head of the Department of English Dr.G.Shanmugam gave a speech about Mother tongue day. Various professors, students participated in the event. |
