International Mother Language Day
International Mother Language Day (21.02.2022) International Mother Language Day was celebrated on 21.02.2022 as part of the School Morning Assembly Activity beginning with the School Choir rendering a song glorifying the importance of Mother Tongue. Speech by Kum.Aryasree of Class:IX on “The Importance of Mother Tongue and the history behind the celebration of this day “ set the tempo of the program. It was soon followed by Poem Recitation and Quiz. The Principal Smt. Prameela in her address stated that “ language is not just a means of communication but it also represents our vast cultural heritage- the key to our creative thinking and expression.” Essay Writing, Versification, Poster Making and Speech Competitions were organised both Class wise and House wise . The events were organised to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism around the world |
