Rangoli Competition
A wonderful event organized by the Institute of Hotel Management Pusa in New Delhi on 28th July 2023 as part of the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat campaign. The campaign aims to promote cultural exchange and understanding among different states and regions of India. Organizing a Rangoli competition with the theme of "Delhi & Sikkim monuments" is a creative way to showcase the cultural richness and heritage of both regions. The participation of students from B.Sc 2nd and 3rd year adds an educational and artistic dimension to the event. Rangoli, a traditional art form of creating intricate patterns and designs on the ground using colored powders, is a significant cultural practice in India. By focusing on monuments from both Delhi and Sikkim, the event not only highlights the historical landmarks but also encourages participants to explore and learn about the heritage of these places. It's also a great way to promote the sister state relationship between Delhi and Sikkim, fostering a sense of unity and appreciation among the diverse regions of India. Events like these contribute to the spirit of cultural exchange and mutual understanding, helping people from different parts of the country learn about each other's traditions, art, and history. It's an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of India and strengthen the bonds that unite its various states and regions. |
