Institute of Hotel Management Bhopal conducted a Virtual Tour of Manipur and Nagaland under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Initiative of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India on 15th March,2021 on Cisco Webex meeting platform. The webinar recorded participation of nearly 150 students and 20 faculty members in offline mode. The Institute had invited dignitaries from ITI Meghalaya to be the Guest of Honour for the initiative. They appreciated the student presentations in the webinar from the Meeting Room of the Institute. The Virtual Tour included a blend of videos, pictorials and tourist testimonials for art, culture, tribes and cuisine of Manipur and Nagaland. The virtual presentation also included videos of popular dance form of Manipur, Raas Leela and Hornbill Festival of Nagaland. The students also apprised the audience about the famous personalities in the field of sports, art and music and how they influenced the youth to pursue their careers in their domain.

As a part of "Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat " activities, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in association with Mygov platform conducted EBSB Quiz Competition from 1st January 2020 to 30th June 2020. As per the instructions received from MOT, India Tourism Mumbai provided paid holiday two (winner + one companion) to the pairing state (2 Nights and 3 Days) to winners of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) quiz contest. Arrangement of ground hospitality including Airfare, accommodation with meals, transport for transfers & sightseeing, guide fees, Entry fees etc. made through IATO. Accordingly, Mr. Mohit Patil from Dadra Nagar Haveli & Silvassa winner from western region was provided 2 Nights/3 Days paid holiday along with his companion to Chandigarh as Chandigarh and Dadra Nagar Haveli & Silvassa are paired UTs under EBSB Initiative.
