Due to COVID pandemic, online sessions on Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat has been included in Home Learning program and Telecast on Doordarshan DD Girnar Channel also were uploaded on DIKSHA Platform, YouTube channel and their links has been shared with the students, teachers and parents via different social media platform.
These videos are uploaded on DIKSHA portal as well as in Gujarat e-Class Samagra Shiksha YouTube channel. The topic covered in the video content is attached below. Session 4: February 12th, 2022: This session of this month was focussed on providing information regarding sentences used in daily life language of paired state with use of Bhasha Sangam Booklet of part-5. Session 5: February 19th, 2022: This session of this month was focussed on providing information regarding sentences used in daily life language of paired state with use of Bhasha Sangam Booklet of part-6. Republic Day Celebration The 73rd Republic Day celebration unfurled with the hoisting of flag by the Principal, Smt.Pramela. The anchoring by Shri. Sivadasan and speech by students Kum.Abhila, Kum.Afnida and Kum.Agneya incorporated all the three languages as envisaged in the Ek Bharath Shresht Bharat regarding the conduct of program. Smt. Mary Thomas ( PGT Maths) and students spoke on the importance of constitution, the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters, the spirit of patriotism , the need to take responsibility and love for nation. An Interhouse Skit Competition was organized on the theme,” Indian National Movement” with Aravalli House (The trial of Bhagat Singh) emerging as Winners. The Second position was backed by Nilgiri House ( Veerangane Velu Nachiyaar-Shivaganga). The Third place was backed by Shiwalik House( Vir Savarkar at Cellular Jail) and Udaigiri House (Jallianwala Bagh Massacre) respectively.

125th Birth Anniversary of Nethaji Subhash Chandra Bose To inspire people of the country and to infuse in them a spirit of patriotic fervour, the Government of India decided to celebrate 125th Birth Anniversary of Nethaji Subhash Chandra Bose on January 23 . Our school conducted various events to celebrate Parakram Diwas. Floral tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was paid on his birth anniversary remembering his sacrifice and dedication. A Mass Rally was organised on 23.01.2022 and a Morning Assembly dedicated to Nethaji by Shiwalik Girls’ House was presented on 24.01.2022 Essay Writing and Slogan writing Competition was organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of Netaji.

Mass Surya Namaskar As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Ministry of Ayush decided to organise Mass Surya Namaskar on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. The Mass Surya Namaskar was conducted in the Vidyalaya playground on 13.01.2022 under the guidance of Smt.Sunitha, PET and Shri.Santosh Kumar Yadav, PET . The staff and students also registered for the program online.

: National Youth Day ( 12.01.2022) National Youth Day on January 12 was celebrated to honour the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, one of India’s greatest spiritual and social leaders by paying a floral tribute . The Vidyalaya also organised Essay Writing and Poster Making Contest to empower young minds. Unity Run was organised within the campus with students raising the slogans and quotes of Swami Vivekananda.

: KALA UTSAV (10.01.2022) Kala Utsav is an initiative of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under SSA Scheme to promote arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students at the secondary stage in the country . One of our students, Mast.Rahul of Class: XII got selected to perform Online Live Classical Dance ( Male) at the National Level Competition under the guidance of Smt, Sindhu, Music teacher – Kala Utsav whose main objective is to provide opportunities to understand and celebrate the cultural diversity of paired state at district, state & national level.

Mera Gaon Meri Dharohar- ( January 2022) In connection with Mera Gaon Meri Dharohar, as part of Azadi ka Amrith Mahotsav, One School One Project was taken up in the month of January on the topic ”Historical monuments of Palakkad- Palakkad Fort” under the guidance of Smt.Smitha,PGT English. Kum.Athulya P M, Kum.Liya Jomy , Kum.Gagana, Mast.Namit and Mast.Nandhu Pradeep of Class:XI participated and completed the project on 19.01.2022. 2. Virtual Assembly on Azadi Ka Amrith Mahotsav: (21.01.2022) As part of Azadi Ka Amrith Mahotsav, Virtual Assembly was held on 20.01.2022. The speeches of two students, Kum. We have prepared 3 videos on different events on their life which also included information regarding paired state. Samagra Shiksha Gujarat has prepared video content related to the theme of “BHASHA SANGAM in Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”. Using Booklet of Bhasha Sangam we have created content and videos on “VARIOUS DAILY USE SENTENCES IN GUJARATI AND HINDI LANGUAGE”. The first episode, we created of saying ‘Happy New Year’ in all 22 languages of India, this was recived well by all students. We have also prepared 4 videos containing different sentences of paired state Languages. on Doordarshan DD Girnar Channel from 08 January 2022 Each Saturday Early Episode was Telecasted from Beginning. Epi-1 on 08/01/22, Epi-2 on 15/01/22, Epi-3 on 22/01/22, Epi-4 on 29/01/22.
