During the event, participants presented their videos and short movies and conveyed their ideas. The Theme of their presentation were cultural aspects and historically important traditions of India. Around 50 participants including students from other states were participated and presented.

31st October is observed as National Unity day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) in India every year. This day celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This day observed to foster & reinforce our dedication to preserve & strengthen unity, integrity & security for our Nation, by reinforcing the value of strong & united India. In view of this day, National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell & EK Bharat Shreshta Bharat (EBSB) Club of G H Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur (GHRCE) & C V Raman Global University (CVRGU), Bhubaneshwar Odisha held an online program to celebrate National unity Day. Both institutions are paired under the EBSB scheme of AICTE since 2 years & conducted many events. The program was anchored by Ms. Anisha Khairkar, NSS President. The program started with the preamble by Prof. Mangesh Bhorkar followed by speeches in multiple languages containing English, Hindi, Marathi, Odiya on unity in diversity by Mr. Shubhrasnhu Pani (CVRGU), Ms. Shital Punde (GHRCE), Sheetal Mohopatra (CVRGU) & Mr. Sagar Sahu (GHRCE). After this Dance performance by Ms. Pooja Madankar (GHRCE), Ms. Jyotirmayee Mohanti (CVRGU) were done. Mr. Subhakant (CVRGU) performed a song on ‘Vande Mataram’. The motto behind conduction of this program to sensitize students about unity, integrity for our nation said by Prof. Bhorkar in his speech. Dr. Anup Kundu, EBSB Coordinator CVRGU given the concluding remarks and Ms. Anisha Khairkar presented the vote of thanks. The program was well organised by Mr. Shubhrasnhu Pani, Ms. Sheetal Mohopatra & Ms. Anisha Khairkar under the observation of Prof. Mangesh Bhorkar, NSS Program Officer & EBSB Nodal Officer of GHRCE. The program was well conducted under the valued guidance of Dr. Sachin Untawale Chief Executive Officer RGI & Director GHRCE Nagpur and Dr. O. S. Bihade Executive Director RGI.

Creation of a Assam-Rajasthan joint reverberation of making ‘Ek Bharat’ as the ‘Shrestha Bharat’ through continued engagement and exchanges, Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar has organized the “Interaction Programme on Cultural Exchange between Assam and Rajasthan” and “Cultural Activity” under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat programme)” on 31st October 2021 on hybrid (online & offline) platform. The invited guest Dr. Surath Narzary, noted academician, author, educationist and sahitya academy award winner enlightened with his thought on “Cultural Exchange for Establishment of the Unity and Uprightness of India” through Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Programme.

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ is being observed on the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, across the country today, on 31st October. On this occasion members of EBSB Club of GDC Jindrah in collaboration with NSS UNIT of the college organised pledge taking ceremony on the occasion and celebrated National Unity Day through digital mode under the leadership of Prof. (Dr. ) Rajshree Dhar , Principal of the college , she elaborated about capabilities, qualities and nature of the leadership of Sardar Patel. She said that Sardar Patel, one of the best disciples of Mahatma Gandhi, was a grass-root leader and a great organiser, who understood thoughts and pulse of the masses. The whole activity was executed by Prof . Poonam Rainu , Nodal Officer EBSB Club, she narrated that, it is the legacy of his selfless service for the nation and the leadership quality for nation-building. Representatives of all Semesters namely Lateif and Manisha Devi of 5th semester, Eshika Sharma and Anil Kumar of 3rd Semester and Priya Devi and Sunil Dutt of 1st semester took pledge in the college premises and all other students of the college connected with them online through virtual mode . The whole activity was conducted with the efforts of faculty and students of the college .
