Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'-New Batch Orientation -2024 IIM Mumbai EBSB student team successfully conducted the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' orientation of junior batches of 2024. We shared the social message of integrating cultural exchange and values amidst the new batch joining IIM Mumbai. Prof. Manoj Tiwari, Director, IIM Mumbai, conveyed his good wishes and suggested that students participate actively in the work of cultural integration & collaboration and achieve success in personal & professional life. The program was moderated by Prof. Nikhil K. Mehta, Coordinator -EBSB. More than 500 students participated in the event and were given the orientation on EBSB. The vision of national integration, celebration of unity in diversity, and maintaining and strengthening emotional bonds among Indians was shared. Information regarding the partnering state Odisha and the partnering institution IIT Bhubaneshwar was also given. EBSB Club at IIM Mumbai is coordinated by Prof. Nikhil K Mehta, Prof. Ajaya Panda, Prof. Vidyadhar Gedam, Prof. Rosalin Sahoo, Shri Pramod Sudrik (Assistant Registrar), and Shri Aftab Alam (Hindi Officer). We extend heartfelt thanks to Prof. Manoj Tiwari, Director of IIM Mumbai. The session was conducted with a view to create awareness about our partnering states “Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya”.Activity encouraged participants to create impactful messages that promote social causes,national unity,cultural heritage,and mutual understanding among different states.Students were given sheets to write slogan of their choice and were allowed 40 min time to complete the activity.They were also instructed to write slogan in connection with partnering states.By crafting concise and impactful slogans, students highlight critical topics, making them more accessible and understandable to the general public.Activity helps in increasing awareness and appreciation of the diverse cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.

Session provided opportunities for students to connect, build, and develop social skills and knowledge about politics,people, and history. During activity questionnaire containing 15 questions related to Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya were distributed to all participating students.30 min time was allowed for answering the questionnaire.Activities was related to general knowledge questions about the partnering states contribute to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the country's diversity,culture and heritage while also promoting educational,social and economic development.Activities focusing on the states of India promote national unity and integration by fostering sense of belonging and pride in the diverse cultural mosaic of the country.

It is very necessary to give more focus on both the states as they are out of reach to adopt the new technologies. On 2nd May 2024, the Cultural and EBSB Club of Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology orchestrated a captivating documentary screening titled "Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya: A Visual Journey". The event was meticulously designed to offer attendees profound insights into the cultural heritage and natural beauty of the enchanting northeastern states. Transported through a blend of stunning visuals and compelling narratives, participants embarked on a virtual expedition through the rich cultural tapestries and breathtaking landscapes defining Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. This immersive experience provided a unique opportunity for attendees to broaden their understanding and deepen their appreciation for the distinctive traditions and natural marvels of these regions. Held within the auditorium, the event not only facilitated cultural exchange but also nurtured a sense of mutual appreciation, fostering stronger connections between the attendees and the northeastern states of India. The outcome of the event was a heightened awareness and appreciation for the cultural richness and natural splendour of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya among the participants, leading to a greater sense of cultural empathy and connection with our fellow citizens from the northeastern states.

EBSB Club has organized an activity “Food Without Fire" on April, 24, 2024 to create awareness about food and flavors of “Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. The aim behind conducting activity was also to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and cook food that is eaten by our pairing state people. The students prepared dishes like variety of Salads, Soups, Lemonade, Shrikhand, momos, Sweet dishes and delightful food of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. Momos team was the winner team, 2nd prize winner was team with homemade soup and third prize was given to team Shrikhand.

On the vibrant afternoon of April 12th, 2024, the Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology campus came alive with the aromas and flavors of India as the Cultural and EBSB Club proudly presented its much-awaited Food Festival 2024. With an aim to celebrate the diverse and rich culinary heritage of our nation, the event showcased a delightful array of cuisines from seven different states: Gujarat, Punjab, Kolkata, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, each offering a unique gastronomic experience. But the festivities don't stop there! In addition to savoring the diverse cuisines, visitors have the opportunity to witness the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of our students. Proudly showcasing their marketing skills, students set up stalls to sell the delicious dishes they've prepared, adding a dynamic and interactive element to the festival. A panel of esteemed judges, including Dr Ajay Pratap Singh (IQAC Director), Dr Bhavna Joshi (HOD, Department of Education), Dr Ruchika Gupta (Director of MIMT), Dr. Meenakshi Sharma (Associate Dean) meticulously evaluated each dish. The event was well coordinated by Ms. Sonali Chauhan and Ms. Janvi. Through this activity, Students had the opportunity to explore and indulge in a wide array of authentic cuisines representing various regions and communities across the country. They not only satisfied their taste buds but also gained a deeper understanding of the cultural significance behind each dish. Additionally, the event fostered a sense of community and inclusivity as people from diverse backgrounds came together to share their love for food and cultural heritage. Overall, the Food Festival aimed to promote cultural exchange, appreciation, and unity while celebrating the rich tapestry of flavors that made up our nation's culinary landscape.
