Under the EBSB programme, cadets of grade VII prepared traditional dish of Assam. This activity made them aware of Assamese cuisine which is characterised by little use of spices, cooking over fire and strong flavours due to the use of fruits and vegetables that are fresh, dried or fermented. The popular dishes of the state are Khaar, Masor Tenga, Aloo Pitika, Narikul Laru, Goor Ka Pitha etc. The cadets were given one week to prepare the dishes of their choice and make videos and write a descriptive paragraph on the same topic. Cadet Tejas Choudhary, Cadet Ravee Jhakar, and Cadet Yogesh Yadav secured the first, second and third position respectively. The Inter -House Hindi debate competition was held on 29 July 22 in the SM auditorium at 1000h.Cadets from class IX to XII participated in the competition. There were sixteen participants, and each team comprised of two cadets from the same house. Cadet Prashyant Singh, Cadet Bhupendra Yadav and Cadet Yash Choudhary bagged the first, second and third position respectively.

As part of ˜Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat programme, SSG conducted a Debate on 29 July 2022, at 15:30 hrs, on the topic ˜Indian Culture is Decaying in Modern Era, for class IX & XI, house wise. The event was both in junior & senior category wise. In the senior category the debate was won by Cadet Shantanu Vats (XI). Cadet Biswas Thakuri (XI) and Cadet Saptarishi (XI) stood 2nd and 3rd respectively. Udaygiri House was adjudged as the winner house in senior category. In the junior category the debate was won by Cadet Debashish Das (IX). Cadet Miltn Rajkumar (IX) and Cadet Prince Gurung (IX) stood 2nd and 3rd respectively. Eklavya House was adjudged as the winner house in junior category. The jury included Mr. Rajiv Sharma , PGT in (English), Mrs. Pusplata Kalita ,TGT (Assamese) , Mrs Raisa Yasmin , TGT (English) of SSG. Mrs Raisa Yasmin , TGT (English) also coordinated the entire event.

Around 22 Students from IIIT Guwahati participated in this Quiz competition. The event was a success among the students. Students got to know about the history of Rajasthan. They were introduced to all the emperors, forts, and history of Rajasthan through the quiz. The Quiz competition results have been declared and were decided by the performances of each team. There were two rounds 1st one was through google forms, which had 20 questions. The top 5 teams qualified for the next round. Round 2nd was the finals. It was a buzzer round. The top three scores were declared winners. Through this event, we also tested the students on how well they know Rajasthan Students were unaware of certain things, however, through the EBSB event (information was given after every question), they realised that it is a culturally rich state.

Around 25 Students from IIIT Guwahati participated in this puppets and puppetry competition. The event was a success among the students. Students not only got to know about the puppetry of Rajasthan but also about the puppetry culture. They were introduced to a very famous Rajasthani folklore and a Voice-over competition. The Voice-over competition results have been declared and were decided by voting from different people so that it was not influenced by a single person. Through this event, the students were educated about an amazing, colorful and entertaining art form i.e. puppet show or Kathputli Naach. Students were unaware of this art form, however, through the EBSB event (presentation and videos), they realised that it is not only entertaining but also culturally rich. According to the feedback from participants, this event was interesting as well as informative to them. They were happy to learn about a new tradition of Rajasthan through the EBSB platform.

“Rajasthan ki Baat” was a general discussion event that was conducted on 19th April2022 at 5:30 PM in classroom C1. It was of utmost importance as the event wasconducted under EBSB. There was active participation from many students. We discussed food, history, travel, social, local games, events like Pushkar Mela, skillslike Meena Karigiri, dance forms like Kalbeliya, and several books. The students were animated while expressing their share of fond memories andnarrating events that led them to know more about the vibrant state. There were fewstudents who were from Rajasthan. They did a detailed presentation about their stateand removed some myths like 'waterless region', 'people are only rulers', 'locals areunkindly' etc. Their discussion added a much better perspective about the state and itspeople.
