With Reference to the letter, D.O.F.1-11/2022(Bharatiya Bhasha Diwas) dt. 25thSep2023, to uphold the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ initiative and highlight the messageof“Language Vibes for Glocal Transformation, the Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav (Indian LanguageFestival) was conducted by the School of Languages. Various interdepartmental competitionswere organised on the 21 st of December in four different locations in our college campus. Oratorical, Solo Singing, Poster Making, Shape your Heart of Art: Exhibition and Group Dance were conducted by the Tamil, Sanskrit, Hindi, French and English Programmes on the 21st of December from 9 a.m., to 3 p.m.

The purpose of this event is to provide information to the students about the famous cuisines of the paired states Manipur and Nagaland. In the beginning of the program, the EBSB Club in-charge of Mrs. Namrata Nigam gave information to the students about the famous cuisines of Manipur and Nagaland. She told about various types of vegetables, spices and herbs are used in the cuisines of Manipur and Nagaland. The taste of these dishes is very delicious and distinct. Mrs. Smriti Dahayat also provided information to the students related to Manipur and Nagaland. She told the students about the history, culture and art of these states.

All the cadets were influenced and motivated to appreciate the cultural, regional and linguistic diversities as India represents ˜Unity in Diversity. All the cadets were impressed and inspired while participating in the Literacy Fest.

To highlight the importance of different Exchange programs under EBSB. To promote the importance of Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat Abhiyan (EBSB). A musical activity was organized in which Parth Pandey, Saksham Dubey and Mohd. Tousif from B.tech 2nd year have performed folk and traditional songs of Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. Apart from singing, students also translated the songs into hindi and english language so that audience can easily get the meaning of song. Audience really connected to the culture by listening to the song with proper meaning. sLast two lines of song were sung by the faculties and audience together which was very interesting. Dr. Garima Srivastava share some interesting facts about rich music, culture, and traditions of Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh under EBSB programs.

An initiative was set by the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) Club and CCT TAPMI via UNSTOP, which was named Virtuoso – An Intercollege GD Competition in collaboration with IIM Kashipur, that marked the occasion of Uttarakhand Formation Day. This event was held on 24 November 2023 which aimed to bring together the brightest minds of MBA 1st year students from both institutes for an engaging and intellectually stimulating online group discussion competition. The program encourages engagement among people from different states and union territories to deepen mutual understanding of our diverse cultural heritage. We were honoured to host Ms Mitali Raul, an illustrious Odissi classical artist.
