May Lord Ganesha Bless You with happiness, success, and prosperity. With the festive spirit, the IIM Staff and Officers Club and the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Team have organized the Ganapathi Festival from September 19-25, 2023, at IIM Community Hall. Prof. Manoj Tiwari graced the Ganesh Sthapna Poojan. We thank him for his constant guidance and support. Students, Officers, Staff, and faculty members actively participated in cultural performances showcasing Kirtan. Ganesha celebration is prominently a Maharashtrian festival. This celebration served alignment with our paired state (Odisha). Online darshans were organized. Devotees of Lord Ganesha, the god of intelligence and good fortune, mark his birth during the Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. Historically, the great Maratha leader Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj started these celebrations to foster nationalism. Lord Ganesha is considered vignahartha (the problem solver); therefore, the event is celebrated nationwide with much pomp and show. As per the rituals celebrated in Maharashtra, the proceedings in the institutions are well organized including idol placement, worship for ten days and this surgeon. The procession was carried out before immersion. Community engagement was a key focus of the celebration, with the institute organizing outreach programs. These initiatives reinforced the institute's dedication to social responsibility and community welfare. The celebration culminated in an eco-friendly immersion ceremony, symbolizing the cyclical nature of life and creation. Ganpati Visarjan was held on September 25, 2023.

As far as the interrelationship between Hindi and khasi language is concerned, it can definitely be said that the interrelationship between khasi and hindi language remains strong whether it is through the medium of business or commerce or any other medium. That medium has provided access to language due to which it has been seen that such complex words have come into existence from Hindi. Khasi adopted those words but there is a slight difference in their sound pronunciation. For example, som words can be taken which are used on different levels.
