2)Painting, Poster Making. : Event Name: Different competitions such as painting, poster making competitions pertaining to different regions/state were conducted among the students to make the students enthusiastic in different fields with a view to create awareness about making our country Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat. To create better understanding among the migration students regarding their food habit of our state and simultaneously receiving/continuing the food habit of their state. To have a better idea about using and receiving language system of counterpart linked migration JNV student i.e. JNV,Pakur,Jharkhand. Venue : All the programme were conducted in the Vidyalaya and outside of Vidyalaya as required.
3)OATH TAKING FOR ENCOURAGING ADMINISTRATION : 1. STUDENTS OF HOST VIDYALAYA AND MIGRATED VIDYALAYA TAKING OATH IN ODIA AND HINDI LANGUAGE FOR OBEYING THE RULES AND REGULATION OF THE HOST VIDYALAYA FOR THE ENRICHMENT OF CULTURE & SOUND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT THROUGH PLEDGE. 2. NATIONAL INTEGRATION MAINTAIN BY THE CULTURAL ACTIVITY AMONG THE STUDENTS. 3. PROGRAMMES PERFORM BY THE MIGRATED STUDENTS IN HOST VIDYALAYA CAN EXCHANGE CULTURE.
4)PAINTING AND DISCUSSION ON DIFFERENT FOOD ITEMS : 1. EXCHANGE OF STAPLE FOOD BETWEEN HOST VIDYALAYA AND MIGRATED VIDYALAYA 2. GROUP DISCUSSION ON FOOD HABITS BETWEEN THE STUDENTS OF HOST VIDYALAYA AND MIGRATED VIDYALAYA 3. DRAWING COMPETITION ON DIFFERENT FOOD ITEMS AMONG ALL THE STUDENTS. 4. PARENTS OF MIGRATED STUDENTS SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCES WITH THE HOST VIDYALAYA STUDENTS REGARDING CULTURE AND FOOD HABITS. 5. MIGRATED STUDENTS VISITED THE HOUSE OF HOST VIDYALAYA STUDENTS.
5)Conversation among Students : As per the directive of the Ministry of Human Resource Development [MHRD] to celebrate ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ , first programme in the series of ten programmes was organized by the Dept. of Humanities and Social Sciences on October 12, 2017 at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology [VNIT] Auditorium from 3.00 p.m to 5.p.m.
The programme was inaugurated by IRS Mr. Sanjeev Chetule who interacted with a full packed auditorium on the role of bureaucracy in National Integration. He spoke about the strength of cultural diversity of India. The students responded to him enthusiastically and took oath for cultural integration.
As per the norms, the State of Maharashtra has been paired with the State of Orissa. A mini cultural event displaying the rich culture of both the states was organized. Students were given preliminary knowledge about the same.
